| Yoga Mandali means "Circle of Friends" We welcome you to come join our circle, a caring and committed community of yoga practitioners where our mission is to empower and nurture each other in mind, body and spirit. Come practice yoga in our warm inviting space and be guided by experienced and expertly trained instructors. Enjoy a challenging physical yoga practice based on Vinyasa Flow, Ashtanga and Iyengar alignment principles. As you progress, you will come to realize that Yoga is not just another form of physical exercise, but also a method of reuniting with our true innate wisdom. We are located in the heart of downtown Saratoga Springs, New York. Our studio is on the lower level of the Downstreet Marketplace, on the east side of Broadway, between Caroline Street and Lake Avenue. Classes are available on a walk-in basis. Cash and checks are accepted at the studio. Classes may be purchased online with a credit card through Paypal. Credit cards are not accepted at the studio. We are now on Facebook! He observed nature, and he observed his own mind. He realized that the mind is transparent and spacelike, and that the identity is a simply a memory. He reconnected his self with pure awareness, which has no name or form. Eddy combines spanish-flamenco guitar, and Sanskrit mantras creating a very unique experience. John de Kadt is a percussionist and poet who has played ethnic hand percussion instruments for more than 25 yrs. He has studied with percussion masters around the world and plays drums from India, Ireland, Turkey, Switzerland, Brazil, Egypt, Africa and Cuba. John has performed on NBC, PBS, and with Steve Gorn, Glen Velez, Subash Chandran, Robert Bly, Krishna Das, Baba Olatunde and others. His CD This Rhythm is Not Mine has recieved excellent reviews along with his newest CD, Eight. www.johndekadt.com Steve Gorn, whose flute is featured on the 2004 Academy Award winning Documentary film, Born into Brothels, has performed Indian Classical Music and new American Music on the bansuri bamboo flute, soprano saxophone and clarinet in concerts and festivals throughout the world. Well known to audiences in India and the west, he has been praised by critics and leading Indian musicians as one of the few westerners recognized to have captured the subtlety and beauty of Indian music. His recordings include Rasika, Luminous Ragas, Colors of the Mind, and Priyageeta. To practice yoga to the accompaniment of Steve Gorn's bansuri flute is to discover the effortless synchronization between movement and sound, gesture and melody, and heart and form.
