About Sruti Ram and Ishwari: Exploding out of
Woodstock, NY off the strength of their debut CD
"Fire of Devotion", Sruti Ram and Ishwari have gained
fans and accolades for their signature style of
passionate, heart-opening Kirtan. The duo weaves their
majestic harmonies with spirited instrumentation from
talented musicians to create a music that uplifts the
spirit and nourishes the soul. Accomplished musicians in
their own right and both classically trained, Sruti Ram
has sung kirtan as his personal practice and in temples
across India while Ishwari has written and performed
her own music for 30 years. Upon meeting in 2004, the
two recognized the powerful compatibility in their styles
and one of the most exciting forces in Kirtan was
formed.
Sruti Ram and Ishwari have an active tour schedule
that includes performances at Omega Institute, Kripalu
Center for Yoga and Health, Jivamukti Yoga School and

KIRTAN
with Sasha & Eddie Nataraj
6:00pm

Tickets
$15.00 in advance online
or $20.00 at door

Eddy Nataraj is truly a world musician. His music
brings alive the spirit of our universal culture,
beyond space and time. Eddy spent 7 years
wandering the beaches and jungles of Hawaii with
yoga scriptures and his guitar. He observed
nature, and he observed his own mind. He
realized that the mind is transparent and
spacelike, and that the identity is a simply a
memory. He reconnected his self with pure
awareness, which has no name or form. Eddy
combines spanish-flamenco guitar, and Sanskrit
mantras creating a very unique experience. Join
Eddy Nataraj, Greg Mach on Violin, and Fumio
Taniguchi on Tablas, for a very special evening of
kirtan: the yoga of sacred sound.
